Four artist fellows have installed multisensory works through Brooklyn Botanic Garden's grounds, each taking a different environmental phenomenon - soil, water, plant matter - and treating it through an animist rather than a botanical frame. Because the pieces are sited outdoors among the collections, the visit is a garden walk and an exhibition at once, and late October is when the Garden itself looks best. The show closes October 25, so this is the last month to catch it.
