Little Bay Park has one of the most dramatic settings of any small park in New York — a shoreline lawn directly under the Throgs Neck Bridge, with the towers going up out of the water and the Bronx across the strait. A Bloom and Thrive morning session on that lawn gets the whole view for free. If you've only ever crossed the Throgs Neck at speed, standing under it on the Queens side is a genuinely different experience.
What to expect
A community gathering on the open lawn with the bridge overhead and the bay beyond, running through the morning. Little Bay Park's waterfront path and the Joe Michaels Mile promenade run along the shoreline for walkers and cyclists. Expect wind off the water and full sun on the lawn.
