CATVIDEOFEST is a genuinely curated feature-length reel - user submissions, animation, archival oddities - projected in a real cinema at the Museum of the Moving Image, which is the museum that takes moving-image history seriously enough to make the joke land. The audience laughs together in a way that almost never happens at a movie anymore, and a portion of every ticket goes to cat rescue groups in the city. This is the last day of the Astoria run, so it is now or next year.

MoMI's galleries of film and television history are open around the screening if you build in time.
