What to expect
You walk into Webster Hall's main hall with its balconies and vaulted ceiling, already full and already loud. The sets run continuously with no headline-time drama, and the room empties at a reasonable hour. Expect a crowd of adults who came specifically to dance.

- Take the L to Third Ave or the 4, 5, 6, N, Q, R, W to 14th St-Union Square
- Entry is strictly for adults over 21, so bring photo ID
- Coat and bag checks exist but the room gets warm, so travel light
