Czechoslovakia existed for twenty years between empires and spent them producing some of the most confident travel and tourism graphics in Europe, a country literally designing itself into being. Poster House has that entire arc on one floor, on the same ticket as two shows closing this weekend. If you like interwar modernism and have never thought about Central European poster design, start here.

Original printed sheets shown at full scale, hung chronologically so the design language visibly shifts as the decades and the politics move underneath it. Poster House is a two-floor museum, so this pairs naturally with the two closing exhibitions and the wartime reading show on the same ticket. Around thirty minutes for this gallery alone.
