Fuego Camina Conmigo closes September 1, so this is effectively its final run of open days at ICP. The five-dollar Friday admission means you can see it plus the Yves Saint Laurent show and two more photography exhibitions for less than a cocktail on the same block. If you have been meaning to get to ICP's Ludlow Street galleries, the arithmetic will not be better than this.

What to expect

ICP's galleries are compact, well-lit and print-dense, laid out over two levels. All four current exhibitions are included in the same ticket, so plan for around 90 minutes if you want to see everything. Essex Market and the Lower East Side bars are a few minutes away.

Good to know

  • Take the F to Delancey Street or the J/M/Z to Essex Street
  • Friday admission is heavily discounted for a limited stretch of the season
  • Thursday evenings also carry a reduced rate
  • One ticket covers all four ICP exhibitions on view
  • Galleries are step-free and elevator-served
  • Best for photography-minded visitors; the shows are text-heavy
