Miller and Martin built Prima Facie into a global phenomenon by putting one woman and the law in the same unbearable room, and this is the pair swinging again with a bigger canvas. Pike is on stage throughout, carrying a judge who knows the system is broken and still has to sit at the top of it. If you want one hundred minutes that leave you arguing in the lobby afterwards, book this.

The Music Box is one of Broadway's more intimate houses, which suits a production that depends on watching a face change.
