Watching a rapper who fills theatres work a jazz club with table service and a $20 minimum is a genuinely different experience, and the Blue Note stage is close enough that there is no bad angle. Joey Bada$$ has been building a live band sound since 1999 made him a boom-bap standard-bearer, and this room rewards that. If you can still find a seat, it is the most interesting hip-hop ticket in Manhattan this weekend.

Two seatings a night, with the 8pm set drawing the dinner crowd and the 10:30pm set running looser and later.
