Brevoort Playground has an actual performance area built into it — a rarity for a NYCHA-adjacent playground — and an old-school set there is the sound of the blocks around it: classic hip-hop, disco and soul on real speakers, with the basketball courts still running behind you. What to expect
Expect a DJ and speakers set up in the playground's paved performance space, with benches, courts and play equipment in use around it.
