The Hispanic Society spent a century collecting Spain and Latin America while sitting inside one of the most Dominican neighbourhoods in the country, and Uptown Visions is the museum turning around to look at its own street. It runs through November 1 and shares a ticket with the Sorolla galleries and the new Esperanza Cortes commission. If you want the least touristed serious museum in Manhattan, take the 1 train past 125th.
