Make a quilted square from upcycled fabric while exploring kawandi patchwork with Mahdiyyah Muhammad.
This is a making session with a cultural thread to follow: the patchwork is both a technique to try and a way of thinking about knowledge passed between generations.
What to expect
A two-hour gallery-based quilt-making circle led by a textile artist.
