Le Carrousel is deliberately unlike the machines at every other city park: a compact French-built ride with hand-painted animals, a cabaret soundtrack and Midtown skyscrapers looming directly overhead. It runs daily for most of the year on the 40th Street side of the park, and the whole experience takes about three minutes. What to expect
You buy a ticket at the carousel itself and queue briefly for the next turn.
