Louis Cato spent years on national television every weeknight leading The Late Show band; here he is on a pier over the Hudson, aiming a seven-piece at the repertoire of the Savoy Ballroom. What to expect
The Amph faces the river, so the set plays out against the sun going down behind New Jersey and the Hudson moving underneath the band. Seating is general admission, arranged front to back by section, and latecomers are not seated once the show starts.
