Meltt make the kind of layered, reverb-soaked dream pop that needs a room with a decent PA, and Bowery Ballroom has been that room for thirty years. The sunken floor and wraparound balcony mean you can see the stage from almost anywhere in the 575-capacity space. If you want a downtown Friday that costs a fraction of an arena ticket and sounds better, take this one.
What to expect
You enter at street level into a bar, then go downstairs to the main room with the stage at the far end and the balcony wrapping above. Support acts play first. Expect washes of synth and guitar, a light show built for the material, and a floor that fills steadily toward the front as the night goes on.
