Most club shows hand you a lineup card; Mixtape refuses to, and that is the entire point. Royale Watkins has run this Chelsea night for more than a decade with a live band and a DJ behind four rotating comics, and the unannounced slot has previously been filled by Jerry Seinfeld, Amy Schumer, Kevin Hart and Chris Rock, with Doug E. Fresh, Erick Sermon and Naughty by Nature closing on the music side. If you want the version of a comedy club where the room might detonate, this is the ticket.
