What to expect
About two hours on foot, outdoors, on a hill — the terrain rises sharply from the west. Expect exteriors and public interiors rather than private access, and a guide-led group rather than an audio tour.

- Take the 1 to 116th St–Columbia University; the tour area runs roughly between 110th and 125th Streets.
- Ticketed in advance through MAS at Member $25 / Non-member $35 — this is not a drop-in tour.
- Entirely outdoors and on an incline; wear shoes you can walk a couple of hours in.
