Free, girls-only court time with actual coaching is rare, and this NYC Parks clinic delivers a full day of it at St. Mary's Park — the South Bronx's biggest park and a genuine basketball neighborhood. Sessions build from fundamentals into scrimmages, so first-timers and travel-team kids both get pushed. If there's a girl in your house circling the game, this is a zero-cost way to feed it.
What to expect
Structured stations for ball-handling, shooting and defense, followed by scrimmage play as the day goes on, all run by Parks coaches. Players rotate through by age and skill; parents can watch from the sidelines.
