Brown has been building EVIDENCE's language — contemporary dance braided with West African and African-American movement — for decades, and the company tours the West Coast rarely. The Wallis has given it a three-night run in the 500-seat Bram Goldsmith Theater, where you sit close enough to hear the dancers breathe.
