It's the museum's major new show, and October is the month it was built for. The galleries mix film objects with staged settings, and the films range from Frankenstein and Dracula to The Exorcist, Halloween, Ringu and Get Out.
What to expect
A walk-through built to feel like a haunted set as much as a gallery. It covers classic monsters, slashers and ghost stories, and looks at how these films were written and made.

- The museum is open Wednesday through Monday, 10 AM to 6 PM, and closed Tuesdays, so it is open on the holiday Monday.
- General admission is $25 for adults, $19 for seniors 62+ and $15 for students; 17 and under are free.
- The museum advises parental guidance, since some themes may disturb some visitors.
