Underwood's Fall Harvest Festival is the classic Southern California pumpkin-patch day out, now in its 29th year. The Moorpark farm opens its pumpkin patch, pick-your-own fields and animal center, and each weekend has its own theme, from Antique Tractor Weekend (October 10–11) to Wild West Weekend (October 17–18).
What to expect
A working farm dressed for fall, open 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Admission includes tractor-drawn wagon rides, a corn maze, a large pumpkin patch, entry to the pick-your-own fields (produce is extra) and the farm's chicken show. Weekends add live entertainment and bands.

- On weekends, tickets are sold online only; the farm says walk-ins are not guaranteed entry.
- Weekend prices vary: $30 online for the late-September and early-October weekends, $34 from October 10 on, with day-of tickets $4 more if spots remain.
