The Antelope Valley Fair is the high desert's big annual fair, and opening weekend brings grandstand shows: Fuel with Eve 6 and The Ataris on Friday and country duo Brothers Osborne on Saturday. It is a long drive from the city, but it is the fullest fair weekend in north LA County.
What to expect
Carnival rides, fair food, competitive exhibits and livestock, plus the evening grandstand concerts. Weekend gates open at 2 p.m.
Good to know
- The fair runs Thursday–Sunday on two weekends: September 24–27 and October 1–4, 2026.
- Grounds hours run to midnight most nights, but there is no entry or parking after 9 p.m.
- Grandstand concert tickets are sold separately on Etix ($65 all-in for GA floor, standing room only); check whether fair admission is included.
- Children 5 and under get in free with a paid adult, and active military get in free with valid ID.
- Wristbands for unlimited carnival rides are sold separately.
