Most of what the county puts on a weekend is one band in one room. This is the opposite: a free festival that turns a whole downtown and the avenue behind it into one walkable route, with the Museum of Ventura County, Art City and the Bell Arts Factory all open along the way. It runs both days, so an hour's drive up the coast buys a whole afternoon.
