About
Riot Fest Late Night: Chat Pile / Soul Glo has enough weekend energy to earn a spot on the board.
Chat Pile turned a grinding, bleak strain of noise rock into one of the most talked-about live shows in American underground music, and Soul Glo's hardcore sets are just as physical. Putting both in a 400-capacity room on Western Avenue is the kind of billing that sells out in minutes, and it did. If a resale surfaces through the venue, this is the late-night ticket worth chasing.
What to expect
A small standing room at absolute volume, doors at 10:00 p.m. and music from 11:00 p.m., 21 and over. Two heavy bands, no long changeover.
