Pioneer Boulevard is the commercial spine of Little India, and once a year the city closes four blocks of it and puts stages in the street. Admission is free and the headline set is free with it. The 3 p.m. to 10 p.m. window means it runs from afternoon into a proper night event rather than shutting at dusk like most community fairs.
