A 5K through Midtown finishing on the actual marathon finish line, the day before the marathon.
This is the one day a normal runner can cross the New York City Marathon finish line. Five kilometres through closed Midtown streets, finishing on the same blue line the elites hit the next morning — and it is genuinely achievable for anyone who runs at all.
