What to expect
You enter a small, dim, wood-beamed theatre where the marionette stage sits close enough that children can track the strings and the puppeteers' hands above. The show runs about 40 to 45 minutes without an interval, paced for short attention spans, and there is usually a chance to see the puppets up close afterward. Outside, the Shakespeare Garden and Belvedere Castle are a two-minute walk.
