Watching a wall-size picture toggle between abstraction and cityscape as you walk toward it is a physical thrill no phone screen reproduces. What to expect
A spare hang of very large chromogenic prints in Zwirner's 19th Street rooms, each derived from a compressed digital file of New York imagery. Viewers drift forward and back, testing the distance where pixels resolve into skyline. Nate Lowman's 'Hanging Out' shows concurrently on the same street, and Scott Kahn is one block north on 20th.
