Things to Do at MoMA PS1

MoMA PS1 is the Museum of Modern Art's contemporary art affiliate in Long Island City, Queens, at 22-25 Jackson Avenue in a nineteenth-century public school building. It opened as an exhibition space in 1976 and still shows site-specific work across three main floors, a basement level and an outdoor courtyard. General admission tickets are free for everyone, reserved through the Reserve Tickets link on the Visit page. Court Sq - 23rd St, served by the 7, E, F and G, is a two-minute walk. The museum lists itself closed Tuesday and Wednesday, open 12-6 p.m., with Saturday opening at 10 a.m. On Saturdays and Sundays Evelia's Tamales sets up in the courtyard, where Precious Okoyomon's planted commission runs through 2028.
