Collins has been singing 'Both Sides Now' and 'Send in the Clowns' for six decades and this is billed as a farewell, in the very hall where she was a Greenwich Village-era headliner. Town Hall is intimate enough that every seat feels close. It is a piece of New York folk history closing a loop. Town Hall's warm acoustics suit her voice better than any arena could.

What to expect

A seated, roughly two-hour concert of songs and stories. Expect an older, devoted audience and a warm, unhurried pace.

Good to know

  • The Town Hall, 123 W 43rd St — any train to Times Sq–42nd St
  • Farewell-tour dates tend to sell out; book early
  • Same night as the St. Patrick's weekend crowds in Midtown — allow extra time
  • Balcony seats at Town Hall have excellent sightlines
  • Merchandise and signed items are usually available in the lobby

Going? Keep it.
