The vendor count is genuinely large for a village fair, weighted toward handmade goods, vintage and Halloween-leaning makers. Coming by train makes it a clean car-free day trip from Grand Central.
What to expect
A long, flat stretch of closed street packed shoulder to shoulder by midday, with craft and vintage stalls, food trucks and local restaurants serving out front, live music at several points along the route, and a kids zone. Expect the Headless Horseman and costumed witches working the crowd, and plenty of dogs.
