It is the last third-round night session, so the players you see are one win from the round of sixteen and playing like it. Because it is separately ticketed from the afternoon in the same stadium, it is easy to miss when scanning day listings.
What to expect
Two singles matches on the main court, gates an hour ahead, and the fullest grounds of any night this week. Outer-court doubles and junior matches are still running when you arrive, so there is tennis to watch before the stadium card starts. Concession lines at the south plaza are longest right before first serve and again between the two matches.

How is this different from the Saturday day session?
It is a separate ticket for a separate set of matches in the same stadium. The day session ends and the building is cleared before evening ticket holders are admitted, so you need the evening ticket to see the night card.

How late does it run?
