The Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum is the Frank Lloyd Wright building at 1071 Fifth Avenue, between 88th and 89th Streets. It is open every day, 10:30 am–5:30 pm, including Mondays. Take the 4, 5, 6, or Q subway, or the M1, M2, M3, or M4 bus on Madison or Fifth Avenue. Walk-in tickets are sold at the Admissions desk, but advance tickets are recommended for faster entry, and every visitor passes through a weapons detection system on arrival. On a weekend, Sunday from 4 to 5:30 pm is pay what you wish: $10 suggested, $1 minimum, and advance reservations are strongly recommended. Café Rebay, which serves sandwiches, salads and coffee with views of Central Park, is open 10:30 am–4 pm daily.
