The Studio Museum's Artist-in-Residence show, a launchpad for more than 150 artists of African and Afro-Latinx descent, is back in the museum's own building for the first time in eight years after being presented off-site at MoMA PS1. This year's cohort, Derriann Pharr, Simonette Quamina and Taylor Simmons, made the work in the new J. Bruce Llewellyn Artist in Residence Center. If you like catching artists early, start here.
