Darkside are a festival-scale act who deliberately booked a 550-capacity room and then doubled down by playing it twice a night for three nights - the whole point of the residency format is that the sets differ and the band improvises further than they can on a festival clock. This is the last of the six New York sets. The late show in particular is where a band with this much improvisational rope tends to go furthest.
What to expect
A small, low-ceilinged Williamsburg room with a balcony and limited first-come lounge seating on the second floor, and a long guitar-and-electronics set that leans on improvisation rather than a fixed setlist. The two shows are separate rooms of people - an early ticket does not admit you to the late set, and vice versa.

What are the two showtimes?
The early show has doors at 7:00 p.m. and music at 8:00 p.m.; the late show has doors at 10:00 p.m. and music at 11:00 p.m. They are sold as two separate events, listed on AXS under different event numbers.
Is this the only Darkside show in New York?
No. It is the third and final night of a residency at Music Hall of Williamsburg running September 16, 17 and 18, with an early and a late show each night.
