What to expect
The bandshell's open lawn and bench area holds more than 8,000 people, so expect a big but relaxed crowd on a September evening. Doors open an hour before the music, with food and drinks available inside the gates, and the tree-lined setting in the middle of Prospect Park makes the walk in part of the night.
