Four days on a convention floor is physically punishing, and the Third Place is the con's acknowledgement of that — a space to sit, regroup and actually talk to people, open until 9pm when the show floor has closed. It is the most underrated part of an NYCC badge.

A large hangout and seating space in Hall 1E with its own extended hours, open later than the show floor.
