Homeroom is the room at PS1 where the museum lets a project be an argument rather than an exhibition, and this is a good use of it: an actual international campaign, with a Nobel Peace Prize behind it, using posters and film the way campaigns always have. Pedro Reyes has spent a career turning decommissioned weapons into instruments, so the framing is not decorative.
What to expect
A focused, single-room presentation in PS1's Homeroom rather than a full floor - graphic work, film, ephemera and a handful of newly commissioned pieces, densely hung and heavy on text. Expect to read; expect it to take twenty to thirty minutes on its own, and to be one stop on a wider circuit of whatever else PS1 has up.

- MoMA PS1 is at 22-25 Jackson Avenue in Long Island City - the E/M/G to Court Square or the 7 to Court Square is a short walk
- Homeroom is one room within a much larger building, so plan the visit around PS1's full slate rather than this alone
