Brass Queens are one of Brooklyn's great live-music engines: a female-led brass band, co-founded by Alex Harris and Ally Chapel in 2019, that pours New Orleans second-line fire into pop covers, reggaeton and originals. They play two full sets under the open sky at Industry City's courtyard bandshell, with more than 17 food-hall vendors and easygoing bars a short stroll from the stage. It's the easiest great date night in Sunset Park.
What to expect
Doors open ahead of an early-evening first set, with a second set following after a break — all at the outdoor bandshell in Industry City's central courtyard. The show runs rain or shine, the crowd dances, and you can duck into the adjoining food hall between sets for tacos, sushi or a drink.
