The last Sunday of an eleven-day run has a particular feeling — the vendors are winding down, the crowd is neighbourhood rather than visitor, and a full orchestra plays the street out. It is the calmest good hour of the whole feast.
What to expect
A two-hour big-band set on the feast's closing afternoon.
Good to know
- Mulberry Street between Canal and Houston is the main stretch
- Canal Street on the 6, N/Q/R/W or J/Z for the southern end; Spring Street on the 6 is quieter
- Free to attend — food and games are paid at the stall
