What to expect
Plan on four to five hours minimum; the grounds are big enough that most first-timers only see half, and you can rent a bike for the far fields. The terrain is real - rolling meadow, hills, gravel and mown lawn - so wear shoes you can walk miles in, and know that Storm King is open rain or shine with almost no cover.
