Fort Hamilton Distillery makes its whiskey in the same room where the band plays, which is a specific and very Brooklyn kind of Friday night — a working still, a small bar, and the Tambour Kings pushing through funk, fusion and soul-blues at close range. There is no cover. Industry City's food halls are a two-minute walk, so you can eat first and roll in for the set without committing to anything.
What to expect
The distillery bar is compact, so the band plays close to the crowd with the still visible behind. The room fills gradually through the evening and stays conversational rather than a strict listening room. Whiskey and craft cocktails are the draw at the bar.
