Three attractions anchor it: IBM Serve Speed, a simulator that measures your serve's speed and accuracy and stacks it against the professionals; Calling the Shots, AI-enabled ping pong tables that generate an AI recap of your match; and an AI photobooth that drops you into iconic US Open and New York personas. What to expect

An outdoor build in the park's southeast corner with queues for the serve simulator and ping pong tables, a merchandise setup, and a crowd that swells around the live finals broadcast. Expect it to be busiest during the matches themselves and calmer earlier in the day, when the interactive stations move fastest.

Do I need a US Open ticket to get in?

No. The Madison Square Park experience is free and open to the public, and it is entirely separate from ticketed play at the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center in Flushing.

Can I actually watch the finals there?

Yes. IBM sets up an immersive live viewing experience in the park for Championship Weekend, alongside the interactive attractions and official US Open merchandise.

What are the opening hours?

The pop-up runs Thursday, September 10 (11am–9pm), Friday, September 11 (9am–9pm), Saturday, September 12 (11am–8pm) and Sunday, September 13 (11am–7pm).
