The 12th annual Brooklyn Americana Music Festival stacks nine acts under the Manhattan Bridge for its flagship free day — no ticket, no age limit, just eight hours of roots music on DUMBO's cobblestones. Sets turn over roughly every hour, from a 2 PM all-new kids' show through Dida Pelled's 9 PM closer. It's the loose, wander-in kind of festival day the Archway was built for, with satellite shows at 68 Jay St Bar and Sunny's after dark.
What to expect
Nine roots, folk, and country-leaning acts play the covered Archway stage roughly on the hour from 2 PM to around 10 PM, opening with Neha Jiwrajka's kids' show and closing with Israeli jazz-and-blues guitarist Dida Pelled at 9 PM. It's a standing, come-and-go plaza scene under the Manhattan Bridge, steps from the Brooklyn Bridge Park waterfront. Free sets at 68 Jay St Bar from 6 PM and Sunny's Bar in Red Hook keep the night going.
