On the 25th anniversary of September 11, Green-Wood opens its hills after dark for one of the city's most affecting views of the Tribute in Light — the twin beams rising over the skyline from the cemetery where more than 100 victims of the attacks rest. Words of remembrance give way to live music at sunset and quiet contemplation. It's free, open to all, and nothing like a crowded promenade vantage.
