The Brooklyn Museum is at 200 Eastern Parkway, at the intersection of Eastern Parkway and Washington Avenue, with the Brooklyn Public Library, Prospect Park, and the Brooklyn Botanic Garden nearby. It is open Wednesday through Sunday, 11 am to 6 pm, and closed Monday and Tuesday. The main entrance is on Eastern Parkway; walk through the lobby to the Admissions Desk if you need a ticket. General admission is untimed and the posted prices are a suggested contribution — pay what you can at the Admissions Desk: $20 adults, $14 for seniors, students 20 and over, and visitors with disabilities, and free for ages 19 and under. Ticketed exhibitions cost extra and use timed entry in 15-minute increments. On a weekend the 2/3 stops at Eastern Parkway–Brooklyn Museum, right outside.
