About
Bass legend Ron Carter leads his Foursight Quartet with Donald Vega, Jimmy Greene and Payton Crossley for two Birdland sets.
Ron Carter was in the Miles Davis Quintet in the 1960s and has more than 2,000 albums to his name, so a club night with him is jazz history you can sit close to. Thursday has two sets, at 7 PM and 9:30 PM, in the middle of his four-night run at Birdland. That gives you an early or a late option on a weeknight.
What to expect
Pick the early or the late set. Doors open at 5:30 PM for the 7 PM show and at 9 PM for the 9:30 PM show. Online sales for Thursday are closed, so call the club about seats before you head over.
