The Studio Museum's Expanding the Walls program puts cameras in the hands of New York teenagers, and this year's seventeen artists capture both the blur of streets, subways and buildings and tender close-ups of loved ones and familiar objects at home. The show frames growing up in the city as a push and pull between motion and rest. It is a fresh, honest look at New York through young eyes.
