Kings Theatre is a 1929 theatre at 1027 Flatbush Ave, Brooklyn, NY 11226, designed by Rapp and Rapp and reopened in 2015 after restoration. It books concerts, comedy, film screenings and special events, and the venue describes seating for over 3,000 guests. The closest trains are the Q at Beverly Road and the B at Church Avenue; the B103, B41, B49 and BM2 buses run on Flatbush Ave. The venue asks patrons to take transit or a car service because street parking is limited. On event days the box office sells tickets starting two hours before showtime and will call opens 60 minutes before. Everyone passes through security screening with magnetometers and a bag check, bags must be 18x14x9 inches or smaller, and there is no re-entry once you leave.
