Oliver and Meyers spend their weeks inside heavily produced television formats; this is the version where neither has a desk, a graphics package or a writers' room to hide behind. The Beacon residency has become the place both of them work out material live, together, in front of a New York crowd on a Sunday night - which is a very different act from what either does on air.

What to expect

A fully seated theater show built around two comedians working the same stage, with material that leans topical and unrehearsed by television standards. The Beacon's 2,800 seats keep it intimate enough to feel like a club date. Sunday at 7:30pm makes it an early enough night to get home at a reasonable hour.

Good to know

  • The residency recurs at the Beacon, with additional dates later in the fall if this one is sold out.
  • The Beacon Theatre is fully seated; there is no standing or general-admission area.
  • The venue is at Broadway and 74th Street, a block from the 72nd Street station on the 1, 2 and 3.
  • Material is topical and adult; expect political content given both performers' day jobs.
  • Bag restrictions and screening apply at entry - arrive ahead of the listed start.
