Things to Do at Beacon Theatre

The Beacon Theatre is a 1929 theater at 2124 Broadway on Manhattan's Upper West Side, between West 74th and West 75th Streets, acquired by MSG Entertainment in 2006 and used for concerts, comedy and special events. It was designed in the art deco style by architect Walter Ahlschlager and designated a New York landmark building in 1979. Two entrances serve the building, one on Broadway between 74th and 75th Streets and one at Amsterdam and 74th Street; both are accessible. The 1, 2 and 3 trains stop at 72nd Street and Broadway, two blocks away. On a show night expect a security screening, a digital ticket on your phone, a bag no larger than 22 by 14 by 9 inches with no bag check anywhere in the building, no elevators inside, and no re-entry once you exit.
